Senior Product Designer – International Wealth & Premier Banking

About the role

HSBC is looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape the digital experience for its International Wealth and Premier Banking customers. You will work with a global team of product designers, researchers and engineers to create trustworthy, inclusive and elegant solutions that meet complex financial and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and influence the vision, strategy and roadmap for wealth‑and‑premier banking digital products.
• Elevate design quality across UX, UI and content, championing design thinking and a culture of excellence.
• Translate regulatory and business constraints into simple, engaging user experiences.
• Conduct research, analyse data and embed the voice of the customer in every decision.
• Maintain and evolve design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across platforms.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing digital products with strategic impact, preferably in regulated financial services.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating world‑class product design on responsive and native platforms.
• Ability to write clear, effective content in UK English as part of the design process.
• Data‑informed decision‑making and comfort working with AI‑enabled design tools.
