Assistant Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Shun Yuen Construction Company Limited, a medium‑sized enterprise with over 30 years of experience in civil engineering public works in Hong Kong, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support measurement and costing activities. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, preparing documentation and assisting with financial costing for work orders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare necessary documentation and manage submissions.
• Perform data entry tasks as required.
• Collaborate with the team on measurement tasks and financial costing for work orders.
• Liaise with clients and government authorities for measurement‑related matters.
• Occasionally undertake outdoor assignments as required.
• Handle ad hoc duties and assignments as directed.

Required profile

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building, Civil Engineering or other relevant subjects; OR Associate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in the building/civil/structural discipline; OR Associate Membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors in the Quantity Surveying Division.
• At least 2 years of experience in QS‑related work.
• Proficient in both English and Cantonese.
