Cloud Solution Architect – Cloud & AI Data

About the role

The Cloud & AI Data Solution Architect is a customer‑facing technical leader who helps enterprise customers design and adopt modern, governed data platforms and AI‑powered solutions. Working within Microsoft’s Cloud & AI Platforms Customer Success organization, the role partners with executives, architects, and engineering teams to drive business outcomes and Azure consumption.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders, leading architecture discussions on data modernization, AI adoption, governance, and analytics.
• Design modern data platform architectures using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Azure Data Services, and related analytics platforms.
• Architect AI‑powered solutions leveraging Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, generative AI, RAG patterns, and intelligent agents.
• Guide customers in establishing AI‑ready data foundations, responsible AI practices, and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Account Managers and delivery teams to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and consumption growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise‑scale data and analytics solutions.
• Strong customer‑facing communication and the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated consultative engagement, problem‑solving, and architectural skills.
