Compliance Operations Associate – Onboarding

About the role
We are looking for a proactive individual to join our Compliance team and take ownership of onboarding new international and corporate clients. You will ensure that all customers meet CDD/KYC and AML standards while supporting a smooth onboarding experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage onboarding of all new international and corporate clients of Currenxie.
- Conduct CDD/KYC and AML checks in line with local regulations and company procedures.
- Analyze client information to identify AML issues, red flags, gaps, and risks during the onboarding gateway.
- Coordinate with Client Support and Client Success Management to resolve KYC deficiencies promptly.
- Participate in AML/KYC related projects as assigned.
Required profile
- University degree or higher.
- Minimum 2 years experience in customer service, client onboarding, or KYC/CDD, preferably in banking or finance.
- Advanced knowledge of red‑flags and financial‑crime typologies in payments and FX.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; additional Asian language is a plus.
- Personable, approachable, positive and able to work under pressure with a diverse team.
