Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Global Oncology Clinical Development

About the role

Health Hope Pharma is seeking a Deputy Chief Medical Officer to lead global oncology clinical development, overseeing Phase III multiregional trials and driving medical strategy for its late‑stage pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute medical and scientific strategy for oncology and pipeline assets, providing leadership for Phase III global MRCTs.
• Build and manage the clinical operations team responsible for trial execution.
• Collaborate with CROs to address recruitment, execution challenges and ensure high‑quality, timely delivery.
• Provide medical oversight with investigators and Pharmacovigilance on eligibility, protocol deviations, and emerging safety/efficacy data.
• Engage investigators and KOLs on study design, site readiness, recruitment and delivery.
• Lead discussions with regulatory authorities (FDA, NMPA, MHRA) together with Regulatory Affairs, ensuring compliance with GCP and company standards.
• Guide data interpretation, benefit‑risk assessment and development decisions in partnership with Biostatistics and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• MD (or equivalent); Medical Oncology board certification strongly preferred.
• ≥15 years pharma/biotech experience, including ≥10 years in oncology clinical development.
• Proven leadership of oncology MRCTs in China and Phase III strategy, protocol development and data interpretation.
• Direct experience engaging FDA and NMPA with successful outcomes (plan alignment, submission acceptance or marketing approval).
• Fluency in English and Chinese for scientific discussions with global teams, investigators and regulators.
