Director – Business Applications & Solutions, APAC

About the role

Reporting to the Vice President – Information Technology, APAC, the Director leads the Business Applications & Solutions capability across the region. The role owns strategy, governance, delivery and continuous evolution of the company’s business applications, including an internally developed Warehouse Management System, to enable efficient, scalable and reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the APAC Business Applications & Solutions strategy aligned with regional business and IT objectives.
• Establish trusted partnerships with business and operational leaders, advising on technology opportunities, risks and investment priorities.
• Own the regional Business Applications capability, governing standards, architecture principles and lifecycle management to reduce technical debt.
• Lead a high‑performing software development organisation, promoting modern engineering practices and ensuring secure, scalable solutions.
• Provide strategic leadership for the Warehouse Management System and logistics applications, balancing customer requirements with product sustainability.
• Manage vendor and implementation partner relationships, overseeing procurement and governance within delegated authority.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Progressive leadership experience in enterprise applications, software development or technology solution delivery within medium to large organisations.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise business applications and managing application portfolios and transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading regional or geographically distributed technology teams in a matrixed, multinational environment.
