Finance Director – Virtual Bank

About the role

As a Finance Director at Virtual Bank, you will lead the regulatory reporting, financial reporting and FP&A team, overseeing compliance and financial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regulatory reporting, financial reporting and FP&A team.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and risk management activities.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial statements and reports.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Maintain relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Strong background in banking and financial services.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Regulatory reporting experience is a must.
• Thorough knowledge of Hong Kong financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
