Graduate Transport Planner

About the role

Arup’s Transport Consulting team is seeking a Graduate Transport Planner to join its Hong Kong office. The role supports international transport planning and sustainable mobility projects, working with multidisciplinary teams across Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of international transport planning and sustainable mobility projects.
• Undertake transport research, data analysis, GIS and modelling to inform evidence‑based decisions.
• Contribute to public transport, intelligent mobility, active mobility and low‑carbon/e‑mobility studies.
• Prepare clear technical reports, presentations and analytical outputs for clients and stakeholders.
• Explore and apply digital, AI and automation tools to enhance analysis and project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum master’s degree in Transport Planning/Engineering, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Data Science/Engineering or Geography.
• Recent graduate or completing the degree before the start date.
• Fluent in English and full working rights in Hong Kong.
• Maximum two years of full‑time experience in a comparable role.
• Strong interest in sustainable transport, international development and emerging technologies.
