Junior Designer/Architect

About the role

OMA Hong Kong is seeking a Junior Designer/Architect to join its international architecture and urbanism practice. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates who want to develop their design sensibility across a variety of project scales, from concept to construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project leaders and design teams throughout concept development, design development and execution.
• Produce drawings, physical and digital models, visualisations and graphic representations to communicate design ideas.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials, drawing packages and technical documentation.
• Participate actively in team discussions and support coordination with internal and external consultants.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Architecture, Urban Planning or a related field.
• Strong conceptual and graphic abilities demonstrated through a high‑quality portfolio.
• Attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Rhinoceros.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and/or Grasshopper (advantage).
• Experience with rendering engines such as Enscape, V‑Ray or D5 (advantage).
