Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal advice and support across our business units and affiliated entities. The role ensures compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements, internal policies and governance standards while safeguarding the organisation’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters, including intellectual property, data privacy, technology, competition law and related regulations.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements and other legal documentation.
• Develop, update and maintain internal policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to promote compliance, identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Support business operations and strategic initiatives by offering practical, commercially‑focused legal guidance.
• Participate in commercial negotiations and key business discussions.

Required profile

• More than 8 years of post‑qualification experience as a qualified lawyer.
• Extensive experience advising on corporate and commercial matters, including intellectual property, data privacy and technology.
• Strong legal drafting abilities and excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua).
