Producer, Homepage Programming

About the role

As a Producer, Homepage Programming you will join CNN’s Digital Products & Services Programming team to shape the home page experience for US and international audiences. You will apply sharp editorial judgment and multimedia expertise to curate news, video, graphics and interactive content that informs, engages and entertains millions of readers.

Key responsibilities

• Curate and package the day’s agenda across digital formats (live streams, video, articles, photo galleries, graphics, interactives) for the CNN homepage.
• Deploy top‑notch editorial and news judgment to frame CNN journalism clearly and compellingly.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, fairness, timeliness and editorial integrity across all surfaces and alerts.
• Apply audience insight—both real‑time and long‑term—to guide story placement and optimize engagement.
• Collaborate with senior team members, newsroom stakeholders and distribution editors to improve the daily offering.
• Participate in post‑mortems and strategic discussions to shape future programming.
