Project Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead mega‑scale building projects in Asia. The role involves overseeing program management, budget and schedule control, and ensuring project profitability and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute program management, monitor deadlines and budgets, and report progress against plan and cost.
• Develop and implement risk treatment plans, aligning goals and tasks across multiple functions.
• Assign and track targets such as revenue, project profitability, milestones, safety and cash flow to project closure.
• Identify, evaluate and select subcontractors, consultants and suppliers based on project requirements.
• Conduct periodic client meetings, anticipate needs, build trust and resolve issues collaboratively.
• Demonstrate workplace SHEQ leadership and cultivate team spirit.

Required profile

• Degree holder in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 25 years of relevant experience in building projects.
• Proven experience leading mega‑scale building projects in Asia.
• Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for project profitability, contractual matters and risk management.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
• Membership in recognized industry bodies or institutes is preferable.
