Project Manager, TechOps, IT

About the role

The TechOps Project Manager leads initiatives that improve system stability, performance, security and compliance across the CSI TechOps division. This role coordinates cross‑functional teams, manages project lifecycles, and ensures timely delivery of technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, budget, resource and report on TechOps projects.
• Coordinate activities between Application and Infrastructure TechOps teams, including system reviews, BCP coordination and budget tracking.
• Work with internal teams in Hong Kong, overseas locations, vendors and Mainland China HQ IT to drive project execution.
• Run project meetings, report status, risks and issues to IT Management and TechOps leads.
• Gather and analyse requirements, propose fit‑for‑purpose technical solutions.
• Maintain project and technical documentation for implementation and operational reference.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5‑8 years of experience in project management and solution implementation, preferably in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of contract management, business management, design thinking, Agile methodologies, FinTech, automation and AI‑enabled tools is an advantage.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently with a strong solution‑thinking mindset.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and presentation skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
