Regional Ecommerce Director - Luxury

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to guide our luxury ecommerce business across APAC. The role bridges global strategy with local market realities, ensuring brand coherence while delivering profitable online growth.

Key responsibilities

• Help and empower local markets to align the global online retail strategy with local realities while maintaining brand coherence.
• Own the regional online retail strategy, integrate local plans into a three‑year roadmap and annual plan.
• Track industry trends, competitive moves and digital innovations across APAC and translate findings into recommendations for HQ.
• Monitor regional KPIs, review market action plans when performance falls short and support their execution.
• Ensure consistent digital merchandising across all online pillars and partner with Marketing to localise assets for each market.
• Gather APAC market specifics, provide insights to HQ and establish a regional centre of excellence for client‑relationship tools.
• Define regional priorities, escalate tool requirements and promote an omnichannel mindset across client teams.
• Lead the Regional Client Relationship community, fostering collaboration, peer learning and service standards.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in ecommerce or digital commerce.
• Proven record of delivering profitable online growth, improving conversion and retention.
• Strong analytical ability, comfortable with data, experimentation and KPI frameworks.
• Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and analytics/measurement tools.
• Excellent project‑management skills with the ability to prioritise for impact.
