Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor is based in the Security Department of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and reports to the Security Manager. You will oversee daily security operations, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and hotel assets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide supervisory guidance and support to all Security Officers.
• Perform daily security duties such as access control, regular patrols, and incident handling.
• Arrange shift duties and ensure efficient performance by subordinates.
• Assist in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures for the department.
• Respond to accidents, assist guests and staff during emergencies, and prepare incident, loss, and accident reports.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter‑alarm, and fire life‑safety systems.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of relevant security experience.
• Experience in report writing and conducting investigations.
• Holder of a valid Security Personnel Permit.
• Fluent in Cantonese with basic English and Mandarin.
• Willingness to work shift duties.

Required skills

• CCTV operation and monitoring.
• Building Management System (BMS) knowledge.
• AFA (Automatic Fire Alarm) system familiarity.
• Report writing.
• Investigations.
