Senior Associate, Markets Non-Financial Risk – Hong Kong

About the role

The Senior Associate, Markets Non-Financial Risk (NFR) supports ANZ's Hong Kong Markets business by ensuring risk governance aligns with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations. You will act as a trusted partner, delivering data‑driven insights that help the business make informed, sustainable decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive non‑financial risk governance and oversight across the Hong Kong Markets division.
• Design and implement governance artefacts such as attestations, aggregated risk profiles, and risk reviews.
• Support thematic reviews and internal audits conducted by second‑ and third‑line defence teams.
• Provide actionable, data‑driven insights on end‑to‑end customer journeys to inform decision‑making.
• Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of risk or governance issues.
• Coordinate with enterprise and divisional stakeholders to maintain consistent governance practices.
• Prepare and review governance documentation and risk reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in non‑financial risk management within a financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk management standards and regulatory expectations.
• Ability to analyse complex data and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated capability to lead governance initiatives and support audit processes.
