About the role
Our client, a well‑known company in Hong Kong, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment and operation of their Kubernetes‑based platform.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee deployment and management of Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
- Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines supporting canary, blue‑green and emergency roll‑backs.
- Implement GitOps workflows for automated application deployments across clusters.
- Set up monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and the ELK stack.
- Maintain platform security, perform patching, vulnerability management and lead incident root‑cause analysis.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years experience in SRE or DevOps roles.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and ISO‑27001 (a plus).
Required skills
- OpenShift, Kubernetes, NGINX, Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, Terraform.
- Bash and Python scripting.
- Prometheus and ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring.
