Senior Project Manager - Data Centre

About the role

You will lead the delivery of complex data centre projects from design through commissioning and handover. The role requires managing scope, schedule, budget, quality and client expectations to ensure successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact, build trusted relationships, lead steering meetings and manage escalations.
• Coordinate design development across architecture, structural, MEP and mission‑critical systems, ensuring designs are compliant and constructible.
• Own project execution including scope, schedule, budget, risk, procurement coordination and financial reporting.
• Lead commissioning planning and execution, manage testing, and ensure smooth handover to operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 8+ years progressive project management experience in data centre or mission‑critical construction.
• Strong knowledge of critical power and cooling systems and 24/7 commissioning protocols.
• Demonstrated client‑facing leadership and communication skills in fast‑track environments.

Required skills

• Critical power systems: UPS, generators, switchgear.
• Cooling equipment: chillers, CRAC, CRAH.
• Building Management System (BMS) expertise.
• Commissioning protocols for 24/7 operations.
• PMP or CCM certification (or working toward).
