Structured Finance Originator & Relationship Manager (Associate/VP)

About the role

The Structured Finance Originator & Relationship Manager will support the Trade & Sustainable Commodity Finance (TSC) team in acquiring new clients and deepening existing relationships. The role focuses on expanding the Letter of Credit (TRA) business across Asian markets while collaborating with internal units to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage client relationships, preparing pitches and presentations.
• Provide daily coverage for discounting, confirmation, inventory finance, import/export LC, receivable finance, borrowing‑base structures and revolving credit facilities.
• Structure trade finance solutions and present credit applications internally.
• Execute banking documentation, monitor transactions, and ensure compliance with KYC, sanctions, embargoes and AML regulations.
• Work closely with coverage teams and adhere to SG Group policies and risk appetite.
• Identify new market opportunities and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Broad knowledge of commodity markets and international finance.
• Strong financial account analysis, structuring capabilities, and legal documentation expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client pitch material.
• Proven origination and marketing abilities.
• HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) certification preferred.
