Supply Caretaker / Cleaner – Expressions of Interest

About the role

We are looking for supply cleaners to provide cover when regular cleaning staff are unavailable at English Schools Foundation secondary schools. This is a casual, need‑basis role, and you will be contacted only when a vacancy arises for the upcoming academic year (26/27).

Key responsibilities

• General cleaning of designated areas such as classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and other school facilities.
• Assist with venue setup for major school events, including arranging chairs, tables, and equipment.
• Move furniture and equipment around the school as required to support daily operations and special activities.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Head Caretaker, such as minor repairs or ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Relevant cleaning or custodial experience is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Initiative and the ability to take appropriate action when required.
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability as a team player.
• Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or hold a valid work visa for Hong Kong.
