Tenure‑track Professor (Behavioural Sciences) – multiple levels

About the role

The School of Public Health seeks to appoint Tenure‑track Professors, Associate Professors or Assistant Professors in the Division of Behavioural Sciences. Appointments start on a three‑year fixed‑term contract with the possibility of renewal and eventual tenure, subject to performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand theory‑driven, evidence‑based research on health‑risk behaviours and their modification.
• Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research, publish in high‑impact journals and secure competitive external grants.
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses and supervise research students.
• Contribute to departmental administration and interdisciplinary initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. (or equivalent) in health or clinical psychology or a related discipline with relevance to health risk perception and behaviour change.
• Demonstrated research experience addressing psychological, social and contextual barriers to healthier lifestyles.
• Strong publication record and history of obtaining external research funding.
• International recognition and ability to initiate cross‑disciplinary collaborations.
• Commitment to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
