Accountant – Full Set Accounting (AR/AP/GL)

About the role

Loro Piana, an Italian luxury Maison, is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage full‑set accounting functions for its South Asia entities. The role involves month‑end closing, compliance with IFRS and local GAAP, and coordination with external tax agents and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare full‑set accounting functions including AR, AP, GL and fixed assets.
• Execute month‑end closing, account reconciliations, journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliations for South Asia entities.
• Ensure timely month‑end reporting and disclosures with high accuracy.
• Coordinate tax filing with external agents and support external auditors during annual audits.
• Assist supervisors with control compliance, system implementation and process improvement projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/ACCA/CPAA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an MNC or retail environment.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Experience with local compliance, tax filing and statutory reporting in Asian markets.
• Strong communication, organization and attention‑to‑detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using SAP (advantageous).
