Associate/Senior Audit Professional – Financial Services (Hong Kong)

About the role

Join Deloitte’s Financial Services Audit & Assurance team in Hong Kong as an Associate or Senior auditor. You will work on small to medium‑size audit engagements for banks, insurers, asset managers and other financial institutions, applying rigorous audit methodology and delivering high‑quality assurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit assignments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client expectations.
• Perform risk assessments, design audit procedures, and evaluate internal controls.
• Prepare audit documentation, financial statements, and reporting packages in accordance with IFRS, HK GAAP and, where relevant, US GAAP.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders while maintaining independence.
• Utilise audit analytics and visualisation tools to enhance risk assessment and substantive testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in accounting or a related field.
• 1‑5 years of audit experience in a CPA firm, ideally Big 4.
• Professional certification such as CICPA, HKICPA or other recognised accounting qualifications.
• Prior exposure to Hong Kong financial services is highly valued.
• Strong initiative, teamwork and communication skills in English and Chinese (Putonghua/Cantonese).

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS and HK GAAP (US GAAP a plus).
• Proficiency with audit analytics and data visualisation techniques.
• Ability to apply audit methodology and risk‑based testing.
