Head of Music (Secondary) with Additional Subject – German Stream

About the role

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic classroom practitioner dedicated to enabling every student to achieve their highest potential. As Head of Music for the German International Stream, you will lead the school choir, orchestra and other ensembles while integrating music into daily student life.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the school choir, orchestra and other musical ensembles and organise school‑wide concerts.
• Collaborate closely with the English International Stream’s Music Department to develop a cohesive music programme across both streams.
• Integrate music into the daily life of students through curriculum planning and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Teacher training qualification from Germany, Switzerland or Austria and proven secondary‑school teaching experience.
• Native‑level German fluency and strong English communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding, cultural sensitivity and teamwork.
