Manager / Senior Manager – International US Tax Services (Hong Kong)

About the role

Join Deloitte's Tax & Business Advisory practice in Hong Kong as a Manager or Senior Manager focusing on International US Tax Services. You will work with a leading team of tax professionals to deliver high‑quality US federal and state tax solutions for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Assist partners and directors in leading the preparation and review of US federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, corporations, trusts and international entities.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services for M&A, restructurings, cross‑border transactions and tax optimisation, ensuring compliance with all relevant US tax regulations.
• Lead and manage FATCA, CRS and Qualified Intermediary (QI) engagements, including due‑diligence, reporting and related advisory work.
• Oversee project timelines, client communications and deliverables to maintain high‑quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted tax advisor.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with audit, consulting and global tax teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
• Full membership in a recognised professional body, preferably the US AICPA.
• Significant experience in US federal and state tax compliance and advisory, ideally at a managerial level.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage client engagements and deliver complex tax projects.
