Product Designer – Licensed Consumer Products

About the role

Grade10, a division of MemeStrategy, is seeking a full‑time Product Designer to create licensed consumer products. You will design merchandise, plush toys, collectibles, accessories, lifestyle items and packaging while translating brand guidelines into commercially successful products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop licensed consumer products across merchandise, plush toys, collectibles, accessories, lifestyle products and packaging.
• Generate original product concepts that comply with IP brand guidelines, licensing requirements and style guides.
• Collaborate with licensing partners, product development and marketing teams to ensure creative alignment throughout the development process.
• Produce presentation materials, product mock‑ups, production artwork, specifications and technical files for sampling and manufacturing.
• Work closely with vendors and manufacturers to guarantee product quality, feasibility and high‑quality execution.
• Contribute fresh ideas for new product lines, seasonal collections and exclusive collaborations.
• Ensure designs are commercially viable while maintaining high standards of creativity and craftsmanship.
• Stay up‑to‑date with consumer trends, collectibles, toys, lifestyle products and licensed merchandise worldwide.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in product design, industrial design, merchandise design or a related creative field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing consumer products, merchandise, toys, collectibles, packaging or lifestyle products (portfolio required for consideration).
• Experience working with licensed IPs, brand guidelines or corporate identity systems is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of product aesthetics, materials, manufacturing processes and production requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with 3D design or rendering software (a plus).
