Receiving Officer

About the role

The Receiving Officer joins the Finance team at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, supporting both the flagship hotel and The Landmark Mandarin Oriental. You will ensure that all deliveries match the specifications on purchase orders, covering quality, quantity and price, while adhering to the hotel’s HACCP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily receiving operations for both hotel properties.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and market lists.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and other hotel standards.
• Record and report any discrepancies in quantity, quality or price.
• Assist the Senior Receiving & Store Supervisor with additional tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a 5‑star hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the finance and store teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP standards and their application in receiving processes.
