Business HR Manager – Hong Kong & Macau

About the role

The Business HR Manager partners with the General Manager and business unit leaders in Hong Kong and Macau to translate commercial priorities into people strategies. This role drives talent management, organizational effectiveness, leadership development and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with local legislation and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectives, including organization design and workforce planning.
• Lead annual talent reviews, succession planning and develop pipelines for critical positions.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on strategic hiring and internal mobility initiatives.
• Coach managers on performance management, employee engagement and leadership effectiveness.
• Facilitate leadership workshops and coordinate learning interventions to close capability gaps.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, investigations and conflict resolution.
• Support organizational transformations, restructures and change initiatives, assessing health and effectiveness.
• Promote a high‑performance, inclusive and compliant workplace culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or manager in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong and Macau employment legislation.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and act as a trusted advisor.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
