Data Center Technician Manager

About the role

Microsoft is looking for a Data Center Technician Manager to lead a team of technicians responsible for hardware deployments, diagnostics, and de‑commissioning across its global data center portfolio. You will ensure compliance with service‑level agreements, monitor key performance indicators, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and coach technicians on installation, deployment, replacement, and post‑execution quality checks.
• Monitor and report on KPIs and SLAs, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Escalate issues through appropriate channels and share resolution knowledge with relevant teams.
• Review process changes, evaluate impact on service execution, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure team compliance with Data Center Services policies, procedures, and deadlines.
