Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

GFT Technologies is seeking a Senior DevOps / Production Operations Engineer to ensure the secure, reliable and efficient operation of its next‑generation Stablecoin and Digital Assets Platform. Based in Hong Kong, you will work directly with the CTO and key business stakeholders to support production environments and drive platform reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day production support, monitor platform health, performance and availability, and manage incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Establish and improve production support processes, runbooks, change management and release readiness.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging and observability capabilities, proactively addressing reliability risks.
• Support cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, environment configuration and infrastructure automation.
• Participate in security audits, disaster‑recovery testing and ensure compliance with regulated‑financial‑platform requirements.
• Coordinate operational activities across engineering, product, compliance, risk and external partners, providing clear status updates to management.

Required profile

• Operationally minded with a passion for running and improving production platforms.
• Comfortable handling incidents, taking ownership and driving issues to resolution.
• Strong ability to coordinate across technology, product, compliance and risk teams.
• Proactive thinker focused on reliability, resilience and operational excellence.

Required skills

• 7+ years in DevOps, Production Support, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Strong background in monitoring, observability, incident management and operational support.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerised environments and cloud‑native architectures.
• Familiarity with security operations, audit readiness and regulated‑environment processes.
