Account Manager

About the role

SoftwareOne is looking for an Account Manager to be the primary point of contact for customers, develop trusted advisor relationships, and drive growth across the Greater China region.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers, acting as their main point of contact.
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, acquiring new logos and expanding market presence.
• Develop and execute account strategies with short‑, mid‑ and long‑term goals covering growth, profitability and retention.
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure effective sales strategy execution and timely delivery of solutions.
• Monitor and forecast account metrics, performance indicators and financial data.
• Communicate the value of SoftwareOne’s portfolio to stakeholders from IT to C‑level executives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional sales experience in high‑tech or service‑related industry, preferably with software sales.
• Proven track record selling to mid‑size and large enterprise customers and ability to engage C‑level executives.
• Strong consultative, presentation and communication skills with a results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
