Air Conditioning Technician – Staff Accommodation

About the role

The Staff Accommodation A/C Technician will ensure that all heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems within employee housing operate reliably and efficiently. You will work on‑site at the resort, providing preventive and corrective maintenance to create a comfortable living environment for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service, maintain and repair air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment in staff accommodation buildings.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on split AC units, window AC units, VRF/VRV systems, exhaust fans and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct routine inspections, clean indoor/outdoor units, filters, coils and drain lines.
• Check refrigerant levels, locate leaks and recharge systems in line with environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance schedules, repairs and parts replacement.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Storekeeper to secure spare parts and report major repair or replacement needs.
• Ensure all work complies with local regulations, manufacturer guidelines and company health, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC or a related technical field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of hands‑on experience in HVAC maintenance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of split‑type and window‑type air‑conditioning units.
• Experience with VRF/VRV systems.
• Proficiency in maintaining exhaust fans and ventilation equipment.
• Ability to handle refrigerants safely, detect leaks and perform recharging.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities for HVAC equipment.
