Airfreight Procurement and Capacity Manager (Intra-Asia)

About the role

The role is a regional position responsible for managing airline partnerships, capacity strategy and procurement across the Intra‑Asia airfreight network for a leading global logistics organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute airfreight product and capacity management strategies across the Intra‑Asia network.
• Lead rate negotiations and capacity discussions with airlines and co‑loaders to secure competitive commercial terms.
• Drive cost optimisation through carrier sourcing, BSA negotiations and strategic utilisation of capacity.
• Oversee capacity allocation and flight reservation planning to meet operational requirements.
• Partner with regional and country stakeholders on product development and market opportunities.
• Support specialised air freight solutions such as pharmaceutical, perishables and aviation.
• Manage carrier relationships and performance reviews to ensure service and cost targets.
• Analyse market trends and trade lane opportunities to identify growth areas.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in airfreight, freight forwarding, carrier management or procurement.
• Proven track record negotiating rates, capacity commitments and commercial agreements with airlines and co‑loaders.
• Strong understanding of Intra‑Asia airfreight markets, airline networks and capacity dynamics.
• Solid commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Effective stakeholder management across operations, commercial and product teams.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin an advantage.
