Android Developer – Risk Control

About the role

Join Binance’s Experience & Connectivity Team to design and maintain high‑performance Android solutions for risk control and identity verification. You will work on cutting‑edge on‑device AI models and video processing pipelines, helping to secure a global blockchain ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimise Android applications for risk‑control and identity‑verification products.
• Integrate lightweight on‑device AI models such as face‑recognition and liveness detection.
• Develop client‑side libraries and frameworks to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create hybrid frameworks and inference pipelines.
• Implement user‑action recognition flows: camera capture, on‑device preprocessing, and backend API calls.
• Handle real‑time video processing, camera stream management, and frame‑level operations on Android.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building Android applications from scratch.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience deploying on‑device AI models (face recognition, liveness detection, action recognition) on Android.
• Experience with video processing, camera capture, and real‑time frame handling.
• Familiarity with computer‑vision product development workflows.
• Knowledge of Android architecture, Jetpack, OkHttp and related frameworks.
• Exposure to cross‑platform technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript and React; C++/JNI is a plus.
