Assistant Logistics Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Logistics Manager to provide administrative and leadership support across shipments to ports in Europe and America. The role combines team leadership, process optimisation and performance monitoring to ensure SLA compliance and efficient logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily logistics activities, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and Service Level Agreements.
• Manage urgent short‑notice requests from merchandise teams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Track performance metrics via production boards, shipment software and logistics dashboards.
• Allocate purchase orders, optimise workload distribution and mentor team members.
• Identify bottlenecks, develop forecasts and capacity plans, and drive digitalisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience, preferably with a leading European company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong decision‑making, complex problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
