Cloud Security & DWP Consultant

About the role

As a DWP Security Consultant you will design, implement and optimise workplace security solutions that protect endpoints, users and data, working with leading Microsoft and multi‑vendor security ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver workplace security solutions that protect endpoints, users, and data.
• Support implementation and optimisation of endpoint security technologies such as EDR, DLP, email security, and vulnerability management.
• Translate business and security requirements into practical technical designs, configure and deploy solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Work with leading platforms including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, and other SIEM tools, using query languages like KQL, SPL, and SQL.
• Partner with presales, delivery teams, and clients to run workshops, scope engagements, and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Conduct security reviews, support incident analysis, and recommend enhancements to strengthen endpoint protection and operational resilience.
• Stay up‑to‑date with evolving security trends and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Strong interest and hands‑on exposure to endpoint and workplace security technologies.
• Experience delivering IT/security solutions in a consulting, service‑provider, or enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of security operations, troubleshooting, and incident investigation.
• Effective communication skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Security, CISSP, or equivalent are advantageous.
