Consultant – Family Enterprise Performance Improvement & Restructuring

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its Family Enterprise practice. You will work on performance‑improvement, restructuring and dispute‑resolution projects for family‑owned businesses, helping them navigate complex dynamics and achieve sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Deloitte Private units to deliver tailored advisory services to family‑enterprise clients.
• Support court‑appointed and dispute‑related projects, including estate administration, liquidations and shareholder conflicts.
• Develop anti‑dispute and alternative dispute‑resolution pathways and advise on succession, wealth planning and governance.
• Plan, execute and monitor projects, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and effective solutions.
• Collect and analyse data to diagnose crises and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with external advisors such as lawyers and senior client management throughout project lifecycles.
• Assist with project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking.
• Contribute to Deloitte Private marketing initiatives and networking events.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of family‑business dynamics and the ability to respect diverse client situations.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on diagnosing complex business challenges.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently while maintaining high ethical standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal teams, external advisors and senior client stakeholders.
