About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook to join our kitchen team at our hotel in Hong Kong. The role involves preparing a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and presentation in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh and measure fresh produce and other items.
• Cook dishes according to recipes, quality and presentation standards using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Prepare cold foods and assemble plates in proper portions.
• Monitor food temperature and quality throughout the cooking process.
• Set up and break down work stations, clean and disinfect kitchen areas, tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least one year of experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work standing for long periods and lift up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Food preparation and portioning.
• Measuring and mixing ingredients accurately.
