Finance Director / Chief Financial Officer

About the role

As OnTheList enters its second decade, the Finance Director / CFO will act as the financial architect of the company’s global expansion, reporting directly to the CEO and Co‑Founder and sitting on the Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the global financial strategy, driving profitability, margin expansion and multi‑market P&L management.
• Establish enterprise‑grade financial controls, treasury, tax compliance and audit coordination across complex jurisdictions such as Mainland China and the Middle East.
• Lead the FP&A transformation, building predictive models, advanced dashboards and AI‑driven automation for finance reporting.
• Partner with market leaders to evaluate new market entries, pop‑up concepts and brand partnership models, modelling growth scenarios and pricing strategies.
• Prepare executive‑level financial reporting and serve as the primary financial voice for board and investor relations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership, with at least 5 years in a C‑level or VP finance role within high‑growth retail, luxury or e‑commerce environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing finance, tax and currency complexities in Mainland China and other APAC/Middle East jurisdictions.
• Proven track record of building FP&A and analytics teams, implementing ERP/financial systems and scaling finance architecture during rapid growth.
• Strong business acumen, strategic rigor and ability to communicate data‑backed recommendations to senior executives.
• Exceptional emotional intelligence and communication skills, with a collaborative entrepreneurial mindset.
