Finance Director – Family Office (Financial Services)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the financial function of a well‑known family office operating in the financial services sector. The role is based in Hong Kong and offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory and tax requirements.
• Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise financial processes and systems.
• Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in financial software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
