Global Communications Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Global Communications Specialist to support the company’s global and regional communications efforts across artificial intelligence and related technologies. The role will serve as a communications partner to business, product and technology teams, developing a strong understanding of Tencent’s evolving AI strategy, Hunyuan models, applications, cloud capabilities, and broader industry trends, and communicating these developments to global audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a key communications contact for business, product, engineering and research teams, translating complex AI and cloud developments into clear narratives for international audiences.
• Develop and execute thought‑leadership initiatives, creating PR materials, media pitches and briefing documents to strengthen Tencent’s reputation in AI, large models and cloud computing.
• Explore and produce content for new channels such as social media, podcasts and video platforms, adapting global narratives for regional markets and supporting editorial calendars.

Required profile

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Relevant experience in corporate or technology communications, public relations or content strategy.
• Ability to understand complex technology and business topics and convey them clearly to non‑technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with business leaders, product teams and engineers.
• Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑management skills, with sensitivity to cultural and regulatory differences across markets.
• Capacity to work effectively in a fast‑moving environment and manage multiple priorities.
