Head of Business & Managerial Communications, APAC – VP/Director

About the role

The Head of Business & Managerial Communications for APAC will lead integrated communications across Corporate & Investment Banking lines in the region. Reporting to the Head of Communications, the role supports the APAC CEO and senior leadership with clear, consistent messaging both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute 360° communication plans for Global Markets, GLBA, and GTPS, showcasing expertise, market insights, and client solutions.
• Partner with regional business heads, spokespeople, and global communications teams to ensure alignment of messaging.
• Oversee media relations across APAC, maintain relationships with journalists, and manage spokesperson preparation.
• Anticipate and manage reputational risks, leading communication responses during crises.
• Lead high‑impact messaging for the APAC CEO, including speeches, thought leadership, and announcements.
• Manage internal communications such as town halls, strategic updates, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Enhance the digital presence of senior executives on LinkedIn, ensuring consistency with group positioning.
• Monitor budget, ensure compliance with normative frameworks, and supervise regional communications teams and external agencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in executive communications and stakeholder management at senior level.
• Strong track record in integrated communications and media relations.
