Housekeeping Attendant

Join the team at Desert Islands Resort & Spa, a luxury property that blends Thai hospitality with a stunning island setting. As a Housekeeping Attendant you will ensure guest rooms and public areas are immaculate, welcoming guests with the high standards expected of the Anantara brand.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and assigned areas according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels and replenish amenities.
• Inspect rooms before guest arrival to guarantee proper presentation.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items or unusual conditions to the relevant department.
• Handle guest belongings with care and follow lost‑and‑found procedures.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, providing courteous and professional service.
• Use cleaning equipment, chemicals and supplies safely and correctly.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and store supplies appropriately.
• Follow safety, hygiene, security and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other departments for smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar hotel role is an advantage.
• Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Service‑oriented, friendly and willing to assist guests.
• Physically fit and able to perform duties for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
