IT Audit Manager – Banking

About the role

Lead the bank’s IT audit function by performing risk assessments and audits across general controls, application controls, infrastructure and security. You will also manage a dedicated IT audit team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a risk‑based audit plan and supervise all audit engagements and independent assessments.
• Prepare the annual audit plan, identify technology risks and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of IT infrastructure, application controls and security measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of IT audit or technology risk experience in financial institutions, preferably banking.
• Strong ability to assess complex IT risks and relate them to the broader business environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese and English.

Required skills

• IT risk assessment, IT general controls, application controls, IT infrastructure and security review.
• Cyber‑security and data‑security audit expertise.
• Audit planning and risk‑based auditing.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or CEH.
