AV Technician (Engineering)

About the role

The Hong Kong Country Club is seeking an AV Technician to support its events and facilities. You will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining professional audio, video, lighting, projection and conferencing systems for a variety of club functions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot AV equipment for club events and functions.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance and minor repairs on all AV hardware and cabling.
• Provide immediate on‑site technical support during live events to resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory of AV equipment, spare parts and accessories, and recommend upgrades when needed.
• Assist the engineering team with general building maintenance tasks such as air‑conditioning, plumbing and electrical work during non‑event periods.

Required skills

• Operation of professional audio, video, lighting, projection and conferencing equipment.
• AV hardware troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Inventory management of AV assets and spare parts.
• Basic knowledge of building systems including air‑conditioning, plumbing and electrical work.
