Legal & Compliance Officer – Hedge Fund (Hong Kong)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal & Compliance Officer to join a fast‑growing hedge fund headquartered in Hong Kong. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that all legal and regulatory obligations are met while supporting the firm’s strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Manage account opening processes and handle KYC/AML requests.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation for the company and its fund entities.
• Monitor compliance with local and international legal requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of AI technology within the firm.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve legal and compliance issues.

Required profile

• Approximately 2 years of paralegal or compliance experience in the financial services sector, preferably in trading, brokerage or banking.
• A law degree is preferred but not mandatory if relevant experience is demonstrated.
• Excellent proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Team‑player attitude with a proactive, "can‑do" mindset.
