Legal Counsel – Litigation & Regulatory Specialist

About the role

The firm is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to manage litigation, regulatory disputes and provide comprehensive legal advice across employment, commercial and operational matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution, including strategy and external counsel coordination.
• Handle contentious regulatory issues and internal investigations, preparing responses for authorities.
• Provide legal advice on employment matters such as employee relations, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Advise on corporate communications, marketing content, real estate transactions, vendor contracts and commercial agreements.
• Draft, review and maintain group policies ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, HR and other stakeholders to mitigate operational and reputational risks.

Required profile

• Lawyer with 4‑6 years post‑qualification experience from a reputable international law firm or leading financial institution.
• Qualified in a common‑law jurisdiction, preferably Hong Kong.
• Experience handling litigation, regulatory, commercial and employment matters.
• Strong drafting, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
