Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard our property and ensure the safety of guests and staff. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring security systems, and responding to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Handle guest or employee disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and call for external assistance when needed.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Support guests, including individuals with disabilities, and uphold company service standards.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb unaided.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.
• Capability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
