Loss Prevention Supervisor

About the role

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment within a hotel setting. This role involves assessing workplace risks, inspecting facilities and equipment, and leading safety initiatives to protect employees and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and mitigate risks in the hotel work environment to reduce illness and injury.
• Inspect hazardous factors, equipment, and facilities for safety compliance.
• Advise, monitor, and report on safety practices, engaging staff in safety programs.
• Assist management with training, coaching, and motivating employees on safety standards.
• Serve as the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; ensure completion of safety training and certifications.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Interact professionally with guests, addressing service needs and ensuring a welcoming environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in safety or loss prevention.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
