Patient Service Representative – Outpatient Department

About the role

The Outpatient Department of Hong Kong Adventist Hospital is seeking a full‑time Patient Service Representative to act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role combines front‑desk duties with administrative support, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and manage inbound and outbound communications.
• Maintain patient records, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient arrival processes.
• Provide clerical assistance for procurement, internal communications, and departmental operations.
• Prepare census and condition reports accurately and promptly.
• Uphold strict patient confidentiality and promote safe work practices within the department.

Required profile

• DSE graduate or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinic environment is preferred.
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette.
• Fast and accurate typing skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to use Chinese word‑processing software.
